LAST DAY- CLAP OUT INFORMATION

On Thursday, June 11th, we will be celebrating the last day of school with our annual clap out! It will promptly begin at 10:30am. We will follow our typical parade route through town. Families are encouraged to line the parade route and celebrate our students! Students will remain with their classroom teacher and return to Reid Elementary, if you wish to sign your student out early for the day, you will need to do so through the main office at the end of the clap-out (they cannot be pulled from their class during the parade!)
Bubbles and signs are all fun extras, no water guns or confetti please!!! We have had complaints from our neighbors, PLEASE be respectful of their lawns- stay on the sidewalk and clean up after yourself!

Parade Route: Our students will walk out the front doors of Reid, travel south on Seneca St., we will then parade east on Hegel to Clarence Street. We will walk north on Clarence, back to Erie St. towards Reid Elementary.

Interested in Running the Reid Run Club?

Reid Run Club has been a wonderful opportunity for students to stay active, build healthy habits, and have fun with friends after school. As we begin planning for next school year, we are looking for a parent volunteer who may be interested in taking over and leading the program.
If you enjoy working with children, promoting fitness, and helping create a positive school community experience, we would love to hear from you! Training and support will be provided to help ensure a smooth transition.
For more information or to express your interest, please contact Mrs. Jordan at kjordan@goodrichschools.org.

Student Medication

If your student has medication in the Reid office- please plan to pick it up no later than Thursday, June 11th. All remaining medication will be disposed of on June 12th. We cannot keep this medication over summer break for next year. Thank you!

Lost & Found

Our lost and found is overflowing! Please stop in and check for any missing items! Weather permitting, the entire lost and found will be out in front of the main entrance on the last day of school. Anything left will be donated on June 12th.

Student Intervention- Parent Survey

We strive for continuous improvement at Goodrich Area Schools and value the partnership we have with our families. We would appreciate your feedback on the interventions that were provided through our grant funded intervention programs at Reid Elementary this year (reading intervention, math intervention, and/or social skills intervention). Your insights will help us to determine how to best support our students. Please complete by June 11, 2026. Thank you!
